 BEAUTIFUL PAIN

In the periods of the initial formation and many years ago ,  one of my friends gave me a book and asked me to speed up reading it ,  the book was about the life of a great plastic artist, and as soon as I started turning the pages of the book , I felt the size of the tragedy that this talented artist was suffering from ,  hunger, oppression, deprivation and severe suffering and alienation and after  many years of  his death ,  the American ambassador to France sold at an auction in New York a painting by the famous artist  " Van Gogh " for a sum of 13.2 million dollars.

I paused in front of the news and inquired between me and myself as I looked back at the amount that the painting was sold for , saying :  It is the same artist who I read a book about his life more than thirty years ago .

Then I added :  Is it necessary for the artist , especially the true creator and those who work in thought and culture in general  that the suffering is their destiny and the feeling of alienation is their inevitable destiny ??  or is it the beautiful pain that cannot be avoided ?? !!!!

While I was trying to answer that question and the many other questions it bears , especially the value of the original creator and his eternal struggle between creativity and ways of life , time seemed slow to me and the darkness mixed with stillness , then the thick walls settled like a bullet in the middle of the heart , and the old map of weeping and the pages of the book of perpetual sadness came back to me.

I had  a tremendous mixture of the scorching summer sun of a passion for the word and a desire to live without it ....

I was scared a lot and threw my skinny body into the sea , trying to escape , but I hit the bottom and my eyes saw a world that surpasses in its insignificance the illusion of humans ...

The dream was shattered and lost , and the earth was still rotating when I met someone with the highest degrees , but he suffers from severe intellectual poverty  , I immediately realized that

" Van Gogh " with his hunger and deprivation was infinitely rich .

Then I hid the bereavement in my bag  ,  I rejected all rusty fears  ,  I tore up the old map of weeping and the book of grief  ,  I smashed my shroud in response to the trembling of the pen ,  I arrange my failures with the love of the word and I repeat with myself : ((  What a painful profession to the point of beauty ,  or is it beautiful to the point of pain )) ??????!!!!
